Carbon Cones

Inspired by Bowers & Wilkins’ award-winning 700 Series loudspeakers, Px8 uses a new and breakthrough drive unit technology: the Carbon Cone. The stiffer carbon-fibre cone reduces distortion compared to a standard headphone drive unit, resulting in lower noise on the cone and massively improved clarity. Coupled to a fully optimised drive unit motor system, with revised magnet, voice coil and surround, the result is unparalleled accuracy from a B&W headphone drive unit.

Px8 uses aptX Adaptive wireless technology to automatically optimise wireless music transmission from suitable phones, tablets and computers.
